love is noise

woohoo woohoo woohoo...big sound out of the verve on their new single. remix friendly. i don't really get the video though...seems like 4 vids they pieced together. new album, forth, out aug 19.

...and on the topic of the verve, go back and listen to 'a storm in heaven' sometime. the closing track - see you in the next one (have a good time) - is a favorite.

I think the video makes perfect sense. Love is such big noise that it can only be visually represented by Chinese Mega-synchro-dance, Pretty Girl Falconry, Slow-mo Guitar Demolition, Sweeping Mountain Panoramas, and, of course, Richard Ashcroft ECU's. Big sound, big video, big love.
